SNACK ON THE GOOD STUFF


Do you have a craving for sweet things? I do. I am have always loved sweets and everything and anything that is sweet. Since I am trying to eat healthier and stay away from the sugar and fats I got a great idea from my flatmate for a healthy snack. Make your own mixture of dried fruits and nuts! 

In mine I used raisins, walnuts, chopped dates and cashews. Now here are some benefits of each that I read about. 

Raisins
1. Aids in digestion
2. Increases supply of energy
3. Enhances mouth and bone health
4. Body acidity reduction
5. Treats infections

As seen, there are many benefits from each of the mentioned foods. I am trying them out and hopefully will see some results too! Just an alternative for sweets and that craving.

TAKE IT EASY






I like dressing quite casual and comfortable. No need for those heels when you walk to university and the roads aren't too good (lets face it Glasgow does not have the best walking roads). Small heels work, but lets save the high stuff for other occasions. As for clothes, I like going for the stretchy and a little bit bigger stuff.

MAKE A SHAKE

Lunch Time! Today that means a shake along with 2 eggs. Eggs to keep up the protein, and a shake to get in all the fruits of the day. 

SHAKE (own recipe)
2 bananas
 2 kiwis
little bit of pomegranate juice (Rubicon)

Easy as that.

On another note. Bought some new shampoo/conditioner and hair products today. Had an offer of 3 of Aussie products for 10pounds. Not bad, comparing to Finland where one product costs 12euros...

MAKE IT SIMPLE

This is a new blog I am starting... FINALLY. After countless promises to myself to start a blog I now have been encouraged by my good friend and flatmate (who also started a blog, check it out here thatlittleblacknumber.blogspot.com ) to start writing and taking pictures and put them into a blog. Thanks to her a lot, and my brave decision, I am now ready to get moving and write about my lifestyle, health, and of course Fashion. Why of course? Well my so called "passion for fashion" (such and overused phrase) has started at a young age. Now 20 years old, I am studying Fashion Business in Glasgow, and hope one day to take my studies into a career. To encourage my job search and to have a another hobby its good to have a blog to really show that one is interested in their chosen "field," in my case Fashion.

Thus this blog shall be hopefully succesfull, and if not, that is fine as it is just a good reference to really show my interest and love for clothes, styling and dressing up. Not only fashion though, I am a keen sportsman (woman), and do play sports (basketball, football and volleyball) as well as enjoy the occasional gym session. Adding to this I hope to write about the healthy lifestyle that I live, food that I eat, and maybe (just maybe) a little about the new eating habits and weight management that I hope to get going as well. 

Hope you enjoy this blog, and please please do take it easy as I am new to this and still learning the art of Blogging.
